WiseTech Academy (“the Academy”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of WiseTech Global – a world-leading developer of cloud-based software solutions for domestic and international logistics companies.
Established in 2018, WiseTech Academy’s online courses help improve the skills, knowledge and productive capacity of professionals working in the sector. They also provide a stepping stone for those looking to launch their career in supply chain logistics.
The brief
With the birth of WiseTech Academy, a new website was needed to enable users to find out more about the Academy, browse course options and apply online.
The team at WiseTech Global approached Business Copywriter to write all the content for the new website, including nearly 30 course summaries and descriptions.
The brief was for professional and engaging content that would attract and communicate clearly to both domestic and international audiences.
The approach
The WiseTech Global team was keen to get Business Copywriter involved early in order for us to gain a deep understanding of the business, the target audience and the objectives of the website. This involved listening to recorded discovery workshops and attending an extensive formal briefing session.
Working closely with the Academy’s Executive Officer, Head of Operations, Creative Director and the web development team, we fleshed out the core purpose of the website and crafted key messaging to align with the overall business objectives.
Input was sought from key stakeholders throughout the writing process to ensure the copy was on brand, on target and conveyed the right tone across the site.
